Zoomarine will reopen for a new season on Friday (March 1) and is offering Algarve residents a 50% discount during the month of March when the Guia theme park will be open only on Fridays and Saturdays.
The “biggest surprise” will be the opening of a new ride, the ‘Jurassic River’, which “promises to delight the bravest families”.
The theme park has also carried out renovations in the area where the seals and sea lions are kept in order to make it more accessible and provide a better view for visitors to interact with these “marvellous species”. There will also be a new show, ‘Mar de Aventuras’, which will showcase the “magnificence of these sea creatures”.
Zoomarine opened in 1991 and has become one of the most popular attractions in the Algarve, with thousands of holidaymakers visiting the park every year.
It has received numerous accolades, including five Trip Advisor Traveler’s Choice awards (2013-2017) as well as three ‘Best Park/Company of Tourist Entertainment’ in Publituris’ Portugal Trade Awards in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
