Guia theme park Zoomarine is celebrating Portugal’s return to school with special discounts for local residents.
Until September 30, residents in the Algarve will be able to purchase tickets for €20 (normal ticket) and €15 (children up to the age of 10 and seniors). ‘Low season’ prices would normally cost €26 (normal ticket) and €19 (children up to the age of 10 and seniors).
The campaign is only valid for tickets purchased online at www.zoomarine.pt
Locals will be asked to present identification and documentation to prove they live in the Algarve on the day they visit the theme park. Accepted documents include water or electricity bills, driving licence showing address etc.
Residents can also bring a guest along with them who does not have to be resident but will benefit from the same reduced prices.
Zoomarine is open Wednesday through Saturday. Checking opening hours in advance is recommended.
“This is a unique opportunity to visit the best and most complete theme park in Portugal at an irresistible price and with no waiting times,” says Zoomarine.
Apart from its live shows with dolphins, seals, sea lions and birds, the theme park also boasts an aquarium, a 4D cinema and several rides.
There are also several water slides as well as Zoomarine Beach, a large saltwater pool with five different kinds of waves, as well as “Europe’s longest lazy river, Coconut River.”
“The hard part is seeing everything in one day,” it adds.
