Some of the rising stars in international youth football compete in Under 16 tournaments at Vila Real de Santo António over the next two weeks.
On Saturday, in the men’s tournament, Colombia play Germany at 1pm followed by the hosts Portugal going up against The Netherlands at 4pm. Other fixtures are: Tuesday (February 11), 1pm, Portugal-Germany; 4pm, Netherlands-Colombia.
The women’s U16 tournament gets underway on Friday, February 14 when France and Germany lock horns at 1pm followed by Portugal and The Netherlands at 4pm. Sunday, February 16: 1pm, Portugal-France; 4pm Germany-Netherlands. Wednesday, February 19, 10am Germany-Portugal; 12.30pm Netherlands-France.
All games are played at the VRSA Sports Complex (on the road to Monte Gordo) and admission is free.
