You’re a winner!

In our May 28 edition, we gave our readers the chance to win a pair of return tickets to Exeter with flybe. We asked: What kind of animals live at Prickly Ball Farm? The answer was hedgehogs. How many people have flown with flybe since the beginning of the year? The answer was 4.3 million passengers. And we asked our readers to write approximately 50 words, explaining why they should win the tickets.

The Resident journalist GABRIEL HERSHMAN was asked to pick out a winner from among the correct entries. The winners, Peter and Margaret Lampard from Pêra, were delighted when they received the news and will be travelling to Exeter shortly to visit their great-grandchild, Cody Lampard, who was born on March 20. “We are overjoyed to be able to visit our great-grandchild for the first time,” Margaret said.
