FIVE YEARS ago, Sandra Ribeiro da Silva, an environmental engineer with a passion for dogs, had the idea of starting her own business, providing a wide range of top quality services for dogs in the Algarve.
Located in the countryside of Pechão, just 10 minutes from Faro airport and five minutes from Olhão, the Monte Escrivão Canine Centre occupies an area of 5,200sqm, where dogs are the centre of everyone’s attention. A lot of research was put into the design of the centre to ensure that all the best practises in dog care were considered and incorporated into this purpose-built facility.
The dog spa provides the following services:

• dog sitting and support to recovering dogs
The services are provided by a professional team who devote all their attention to make sure the dogs are as relaxed and comfortable in the centre as they can be, despite being away from home.
