A SECOND Loja do Cidadão Para Jovens, a citizens shop for youngsters, was inaugurated last week by the government’s Secretary of State for Youth and Sport, Laurentino Dias. The shop, located at Parque das Nações, is the latest of 18 shops in which younger members of the public can have access to a large range of information, such as opportunities for study and work in Portugal and abroad. The Loja do Cidadão Para Jovens is also useful for young foreigners living and working in Portugal, being a one-stop-shop giving advice on filling out forms, hobbies, training, grants, voluntary work, youth cards and tourism. The shop also offers computer and internet access, and has a coffee bar.
