The 39th International Algarve Tournament for Under 17 football teams gets underway this Friday featuring the best young players from England, Germany, the Netherlands and Portugal.
The opening games on Friday are between the Netherlands and Germany at the Lagos Municipal Stadium, kick-off 2.30pm, while hosts Portugal play England at the Bela Vista Municipal Stadium in Parchal (Lagoa) starting at 3.30pm. Entry to all games is free.
While most of the Portugal squad come from Sporting Lisbon, Benfica and FC Porto, three players are with English Premier League clubs: goalkeeper João Virginia (Arsenal), and outfield players Luis Silva (Stoke City) and Domingos Quina (Chelsea).
