This weekend more than 350 young swimmers from 67 clubs will be competing in the Torneio Zonal de Infantis at the Tavira Municipal Swimming Pool.
Competitors from as far afield as Madeira, the Azores, Leiria and Lisbon will join those from towns along the Algarve and from the Alentejo.
The event starts today (Friday) and concludes on Sunday afternoon.
