LOCAL TEENAGER Jason Hak became the youngest player ever to make the cut of a PGA European Tour event at 14 after shooting two successive par 70 rounds at the Hong Kong Open.

At the business end of the 2.5 million dollar tournament, Taipei’s Lin Wen-Tang came out on top of a dramatic two-hole play-off with Northern Irish prodigy Rory McIlroy, the pair having seen off the challenge of the more experienced trio of Oliver Wilson, Bernhard Langer and Colin Montgomerie.
