A 20-year-old cyclist died on Sunday after being hit by a car on the EN125 road in Faro. The accident occurred at kilometer 104.7 between Faro Airport and Olhão. The driver of the car remained at the scene and waited for the authorities to arrive. Authorities were alerted at 10:50 pm. Traffic was affected for several hours, causing long queues. The accident is being investigated by the Faro GNR traffic brigade.
