Yet another ‘narco launch’ has been apprehended by the Portuguese Navy and national maritime authorities patrolling the coast for any signs of drug trafficking. The boat was discovered without crew, or drugs, but with 60 jerricans of fuel onboard. It has been towed to Faro where investigations will follow. The boat had been flagged, with another, on Friday. The other having ‘escaped’ pursuit. This is the latest in a series of boats that have been apprehended by authorities focused on frustrating drug traffickers.
