Yet another drugs bust at Lisbon airport

THREE SOUTH Americans were arrested at Lisbon’s Portela airport last week, after being found with 25,025 kilos of cocaine. The three men aged 34, 46 and 77 respectively, were of Mexican and Venezuelan nationality and had flown into Lisbon from Venezuela with an onward ticket for Madeira. The packets of cocaine were hidden in false suitcase compartments and in shoes. Only two weeks ago, the Portuguese Customs Authority (DG-AIEC) apprehended another group of traffickers with 31.7 kilos of cocaine on their person.
