The Pet Shop Boys are the latest name confirmed for Super Bock Super Rock, which this year takes place at Herdade do Cabeço da Flauta, Sesimbra, Meco.
The British band will perform on July 16, the first day of the event which runs until July 18.
The Pet Shop Boys have sold more than 100 million records worldwide and are listed as the most successful duo in pop music history.
Since 1986, they have had 42 Top 30 singles and 22 Top 10 hits in the UK, including four number ones: West End Girls, It’s a Sin, Always on My Mind and Heart.
The duo’s latest studio album, Yes, was followed by the live CD and DVD Pandemonium, filmed and recorded live at the London O2 Arena in December 2009.
