Just a week after the X Factor winner Joe McElderry was beaten to the top spot by Rage Against the Machine, he has finally got his dream and reached number one in the UK charts.
The 17-year-old had failed to win the top spot originally after a Facebook campaign managed to stop Simon Cowell’s Christmas chart monopoly.
Although he missed out on that Christmas number one, he, instead, took the final chart topper of the year in the UK.
