A Moldavian man was killed yesterday afternoon (Monday) after falling seven metres while working in the waste management area of Portimão’s Aqua shopping centre.
Aged between 35 and 40, he is believed to have slipped.
The incident happened around 2pm. INEM emergency services and firefighters were called but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
PJ police and the Portuguese Authority for Work Conditions (ACT) are said to be investigating, while the body is due to be autopsied.
