Yet another tragic work accident has been registered in Portugal this week, this time at the Amarsul landfill site in Seixal. A 45-year-old worker died after being buried under a ton of plastic. He was understood to have been unloading the plastic from a truck. Quite how he came to be buried has not been explained. Setúbal TV reports that the accident happened at 9.40pm on Monday.
