Work to start on Oeiras’ NATO school of IT systems and communications

Portugal’s ministry of defence has announced that construction work is due to start on the new NATO school of communications and IT systems in Oeiras. The €19.5 million project, overseen by construction giant Mota Engil, should be completed by the end of 2018. “Around 400 courses” on cyber-defence, security and IT systems will then be made available to as many as 5.500 students from NATO countries per year.
