Workers from Bulgaria and Romania are now able to enter Portugal without restriction and work with the equal rights of other European Union immigrants.
Portugal, Hungary and Greece have all entered into the agreement in a decision that is said to be in the spirit of the fundamental principles of the European Union (EU).
A spokesman from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Romania said that the lifting of restrictions demonstrated the special quality of Romania’s bilateral relations with the three states.
