Castro Marim city council is to start improvement road works from the eastern side of the city to Espargosa village.
Covering a 650-metre stretch, the work will include the construction of two new roundabouts, two seven-metre wide lanes in each direction, sidewalks, a cycle track, plants on the roundabouts and lighting along the whole route.
A network irrigation and rain water drainage system will also be installed.
