THE INAUGURAL women’s Futsal Nations Cup, an international indoor football competition, takes place in Lagoa from April 27-29. The competition involves six club teams who will compete against each other, representing their country.
The teams involved are S.L. Benfica (Portugal), Tranmere Victoria Futsal Club (England), U.F.C Munster (Germany), Sabesp / São Paulo (Brazil), FSF Technocasa Mostóles (Spain) and Fun Ladies Futsal Cub (Japan).
The opening match will pit England against Brazil when Tranmere Victoria play Sabesp / São Paulo tonight (April 27) at 8pm in Pavilhão Jacinto Correia. All the matches will be played either at the Pavilhão Jacinto Correia or the Pavilhão Manuel Ferraz.
