THE FIRE Brigade, GNR and emergency services (INEM) in Ourique responded to an accident on the IC1 near Portela do Lobo on October 30, which resulted in one woman being seriously injured.
A spokesman from the Ourique fire brigade told The Resident: “We were called at around 11am to an accident on the IC1, which resulted from a Portuguese woman who allegedly lost control of her black Seat Ibiza when it was raining and drove into a ditch.”
The spokesman added: “No other people or vehicles were affected by the crash and the injured woman was taken to Beja hospital for treatment.”
