A 30-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed by two men who set upon her in the Avenida 5 de Outubro in Almancil, and held her down as one of them ripped off a gold necklace. The two thugs ran off but one of them was detained by police with the help of a local resident and is in custody awaiting an appearance in court.
