A woman was killed after falling from a cliff at Praia do Canavial in Lagos this Monday afternoon.
The victim is said to be aged between 60 and 70, according to the Faro rescue command centre (CDOS).
It is unclear how the woman fell. By the time authorities found the woman on the beach, she was already dead.
Fifteen members of the Lagos firefighters, maritime police, national emergency institute (INEM) and national sea rescue institute (ISN) were involved in the rescue efforts.
