A woman in her 60s died after being hit by a train in Portimão on Monday afternoon (January 17).
The tragic incident occurred at around 1.30pm on the level crossing near the local train station, a site which has seen other similar incidents in the past.
Traffic on the level crossing was cut off temporarily while authorities investigated the scene and removed the body.
