A Ukrainian woman had to be rescued after falling around 10 metres from the top of a cliff near Poço Velho beach in Olhos d’Água (Albufeira) on Saturday.
Reports Correio da Manhã tabloid, the 42-year-old woman was walking with her family when the accident occurred at around 5pm.
The woman suffered cardiac arrest but firefighters and an INEM medical team were able to revive her.
The victim was taken to Faro Hospital in “serious condition” in an INEM helicopter.
