An American woman has shocked doctors after falling pregnant while pregnant.
Julia Grovernburg and husband Tod are expecting two babies but they will not be twins.
The couple attended an ultra-sound expecting to see one eight-week old baby but it showed that Julia had two babies growing in her womb that were believed to be separated by two-and-a-half weeks, as the one was clearly more developed than the other.
Doctors suspect it to be an extremely uncommon situation called superfetation, which means conceiving when already pregnant.
Tests will be performed when the babies are born to ascertain what happened.
