A 36-year-old woman died yesterday (August 25) after going into cardiac arrest on a TAP plane that was flying from Argel, Algeria to Lisbon.
According to Spanish news agency Efe, the woman felt “unwell” while the plane was flying in Spanish airspace.
The pilot requested medical assistance and the plane was diverted to Seville’s San Pablo Airport.
Emergency services tried to revive the woman when the plane landed, but to no avail.
The victim’s identity has not been revealed.
