A 42-year-old Portuguese woman died on Wednesday (April 8) after being struck by a train near Portas do Mar in Faro.
It is still unclear whether or not it was an accident.
CDOS Faro told the Resident that emergency services were called to the scene but the woman is reported to have died immediately. PSP and PJ criminal police are investigating.
