A woman, aged 35, had been detained today at Madeira Airport in possession of “a significant quantity of heroine”. A PJ police source has referred to “enough to prepare 18,000 individual doses”, without giving further details (like the woman’s nationality, and whether she was arriving on the island, and if so, from which airport). The woman is expected to be charged with the crime of drug trafficking.
