The blossoming of almond trees, often considered one of the Algarve’s most beautiful natural events, is the main attraction of a walk scheduled for Sunday, February 5 in Cumeada de Alta Mora, Castro Marim.
The event begins at 9am at Alta Mora’s old primary school, now headquarters to local cultural association ARCDAA.
There will be three routes (5, 8 and 12kms) to choose from, crossing valleys, mountains, streams and many fields of almond trees.
Tickets for the walk cost €10 and include breakfast and lunch.
