Dutch side NEC Nijmegen were the latest January Algarve visitors to take advantage of the excellent training facilities at the Amendoeira Sports Club. During their one-week stay the top division club enjoyed a friendly game against German counterparts Bayer Leverkusen whose 1-0 win reflects their advanced stage of preparation for the forthcoming Champions League encounter with Benfica.
