Winning ways in the Algarve

Businesses are looking to new ways to maximise their potential in the current financial climate, while individuals are keen to both improve their career and increase their desirability as employees.

Various training techniques are now being sought to help businesses and the Winning Edge is the latest to hit the Algarve.

Ray Brown, who moved to the region with his wife Loren in October last year, believes that the Winning Edge personal development programme can help individuals and companies reach their full potential. “The greatest asset a business has is its people, yet nobody ever employs an attitude director for their staff,” he said. “What you think about isn´t nearly as important as the way you think about what you think about. In these days of increasing competition and awareness of the value of human capital, we must do more to be successful.”

A course, to be held over two days on April 15 and 16 at Barringtons Hotel and Resort Spa, Vale do Lobo, explaining the philosophy of the Winning Edge and teaching participants how to apply the principles to their lives, will be hosted by Ray, who first attended a course seven years ago with his wife.

“We see people who make huge changes to their lives after the courses; for others, small changes are made, however, often these changes are equally important to the individual,” said Ray. The course costs 295 euros per person and includes lunch and beverages.
