Winners galore at BLiP 2006

Competition winners

PDM Travel: Mr. Nuttall from Carvoeiro and Mr. Ladbrook from Faro each won a return flight to either the UK or Germany.

PDM would like to thank all those who visited the stand, which made the exhibition such a success.

Winkworth: Marganne Meiklam from Carvoeiro won dinner, an overnight stay, breakfast and beauty treatment for two at Vila Vita Parc in Armação de Pêra. Her guess of 3,467,000 euros was the closest to the 3,500,000 euro price tag for the property.

First prize for the Ashbourne Villiers International competition was won by Alex from RE/MAX, who received 12 bottles of Moët & Chandon champagne. The other prizes were six bottles of Piper Heidsieck and three bottles of Heidsieck & Co. Monopole, which were won by Brian and Lesley Knapp and Dieter Genzel respectively.

Daniel Martin Griffiths won the competition to guess the name of the teddy bear, called Big Bear at the Schultz & Miller stand. He won 50 euros.

The Royal British Legion (RBL) competitions offered two set of golf clubs. These were won by Simon Hartley from Benaciate near Messines and Mrs. Eileen Mawdsley from the UK.

The RBL were delighted with the number of visitors to their stand at BLiP, where a record 1,350 euros was donated over the two days. The Chairman, Peter Wilkinson, said: “We cannot thank people enough for their generosity. But particularly our sponsors: Roger Morton of PG2K, who donated two sets of Golf Clubs for the draw. Also, Taylor’s Port and The Resident”.

Finally, Sabine Rossner from Fenster Franz won the Brasfone competition and was awarded with a Motorola camera phone.
