Wine producers and distributors are coming together on March 14 and 15 for the second Vale do Lobo Wine Connection Tasting Experience, held from 4pm to 10pm.
The event is returning to the resort’s auditorium with a new selection of national and international wines and regional products.
With many confirmed producers from different regions of Portugal, the event promises an “exceptional tasting experience”, in which the latest news and special harvests will be presented throughout the two days.
After a successful first edition, Vale do Lobo Wine Connection Tasting Experience now includes many new features for all tastes and preferences. The event is aimed at not only connoisseurs and professionals in the area but also at the general public who will have the chance to taste and purchase their favourite wines.
This year’s edition also includes a catering service by Algarve Fine Food, with many options of snacks, delicacies and traditional flavours such as cheese, ham, sausages and other gourmet dishes, “in perfect harmony with the wine on offer”.
There will be live music by Trio Amar Guitarra, featuring musicians João Cuña, Pedro Mendes and Carlos Poubel, who will perform a variety of themes, some originals, with the Portuguese guitar, acoustic guitars and percussion, in styles ranging from Fado, flamenco and tango to jazz and gypsy jazz.
Tickets, costing €10 (valid for both days) and including a commemorative glass, a glass holder and the event’s programme, are available from the resort reception.
