Wine tasting and dinner at Penina Hotel

An evening of delicious food and wine combined masterfully is promised at the next Penina Hotel & Golf Resort’s wine and food pairing event, to take place at its prestigious Le Grill restaurant on February 21.
Guests will be treated to a gourmet six-course dinner including mouth-watering dishes such as crostini (local cottage cheese scented with fresh herbs and extra virgin olive oil), involtini of fresh and marinated smoked salmon with horseradish foam, grilled fillet of red mullet, with emulsion of oyster and wakame seaweed, and roasted suckling pig with wild pink pepper and savoury juice, accompanied by the best wines from Quinta do Monte Xisto/Muxagat.
The variety of the wines, which includes everything from rosés to reds and whites, may seem overwhelming, but a bilingual sommelier will be on hand to explain everything in detail, and why specifically each course is matched to a particular wine.
Due to the limited number of seats, organisers recommend booking in advance.
The dinner, including all the wines, costs €41 per person and begins at 8.15pm.
