Wine Cellar exclusive Thursday dinners

Portuguese wines || Every Thursday between November and March 2015, Vila Vita Parc’s exclusive Wine Cellar will be hosting a series of dinners to pay homage to Portuguese wines.
The menus have been elaborated by the Executive Chef whilst the selection of wines has been chosen by the resort’s experienced team of sommeliers.
The initiative was launched with Vila Vita’s own wine from the Alentejo, Herdade dos Grous. After a dinner on November 13 highlighting Alvarinho, the Minho region’s star grape, on November 20 it’s the turn of the Bairrada region and on November 27 the focus will be on the Douro, the first demarcated region in the world.
The Wine Cellar is a privileged venue for hosting the winter edition of these themed dinners. Its original architecture features vaulted ceilings made with century old tiles and stones from Egypt, Austria and Greece.
The nine-metre deep cellar is testimony of the perfect temperature and humidity conditions required to harbour a collection of more than 11,000 bottles and over 1,300 references of the best wines from Portugal and around the world.
The three-course menu has a price of €82 per person and includes desserts, wines and beverages. Reservations are essential, for a minimum of six and up to a maximum of 12 persons.
