A new initiative that combines delicious Algarve tapas, wines and live Fado performances has been launched in Faro as part of the ‘Algarve 365’ programme, designed to promote the region as a year-long tourism destination.
Entitled ‘Fado & Wine’, the events are taking place every Wednesday between 4pm and 6pm until the end of May at the Ginásio Clube de Faro.
The idea is to give people a chance to experience “the best that the Portuguese culture has to offer”.
Cost is €20 per person.
