SILVES CÂMARA is inviting all shops in the town to enter a Christmas window-dressing competition, or Concurso de Montras de Natal.
The event is always launched in December and is expected to attract more visitors to the area for their Christmas shopping. The promoters estimate a total of 40 shops will participate in this year’s competition. The best dressed window is selected by a jury and judged on individuality and creativity. The winner will receive a weekend’s holiday at a surprise location in the north of Portugal.
