Show the world why the Algarve is the best place to spend the festive season!
For a chance to win some fantastic prizes, all you have to do is prove that the Algarve is the best destination to spend the Christmas season. How? Simply take a picture that clearly shows you are in the Algarve. To make it fun, add a festive element to it! It could be you wearing a Santa hat on your morning walk along the cliffs or countryside, or your family and friends sipping mulled wine in the Monchique hills, the kids building a snowman out of sand or your favourite Algarve tree (not artificial!) decorated for the season. Get creative!

How to enter:
Go to the Algarve Resident Facebook page and send the picture via private message to us, stating where and when it was taken, and including your full name, Algarve postal address, email and telephone number. Deadline for sending pictures is Wednesday, December 4.
Terms and conditions:
The competition is open to Algarve residents aged 18 or over only. Only one entry/picture per person. The picture must be taken in the Algarve in the month of December 2019 and include a festive/Christmas element. Photomontages and indecent/inappropriate content will not be allowed. The Algarve Resident reserves the right to select the pictures it considers suitable as per the rules of this competition. Selected pictures will be posted on the Algarve Resident Facebook page on Friday, December 6. The three pictures with the most “likes” by Thursday, December 12 at 12am (midnight) will be the winners. The winners will be notified by phone or email, and announced on our Facebook page on Friday December 13; winners will be required to pick up their prize from our offices in Lagoa (Parque Empresarial do Algarve nº 7) on Tuesday, December 17 at 12 noon. Pictures of the winners and their prizes will be taken for publication in the Algarve Resident edition of Thursday, December 19, as well as online.
