Win tickets for the Sheraton Dinner Dance

THERE HAS been a revival in all types of dancing over the past couple of years, particularly in ballroom dancing. BBC Television’s Strictly Come Dancing, has been amazingly popular with UK audiences and dancers alike, with three series of the show and a Christmas special already shown. The show’s compère Bruce Forsyth, still a very agile dancer, despite being in his 70s, was said to be overwhelmed with response from the British public to the programme.

The Sheraton Algarve Hotel has recognised the opportunity to help residents and visitors in the Algarve to once more enjoy ballroom dancing. On Saturday, May 27, The Sheraton will hold its first Revival of the Dinner Dance. Entertainment will include a four-course dinner, at a candlelit table, and you can dance (or watch others dancing) to a live band.

The Resident is giving away two pairs of tickets for this event to two lucky couples. All you have to do is name one of the shows that Bruce Forsyth has hosted or compèred in the past.  Send your answer, along with your name and telephone number, to The Resident using one of the following methods: by e-mail to [email protected], fax to 282 342 939 or by hand to The Resident offices at Rua Visconde de Lagoa No 2 e 3, Lagoa. You must ensure that your entry is received by noon on Tuesday, May 23 and the winners will be advised on that day.

There is of course an opportunity for you to book your own tickets, by telephoning The Sheraton on 289 500 100 – please see the advertisement on page 24.
