Widow questions court ruling

Marie Morley, the widow of David Morley who died in Vilamoura last June (see the Algarve Resident edition July 8, 2008), is claiming that her husband did not die accidentally despite the case now being filed by Portuguese authorities.

Marie told the Algarve Resident this week: “I find it difficult to understand how any court or police force in the world cannot view the events which occurred to David as highly suspicious.

“It was certainly more serious and led to his death which most certainly could be a motive for a cover up.”

Marie has written to the courts detailing her concerns with the investigation and questioning the findings of the police, medical examiner and courts.

She is now waiting for a reply to her questions.

The courts ruled that “there is no evidence suggesting that a crime was committed” and because of this the case was filed.
