Whodunnit? – an entertaining show by Aperitivo

The members of Aperitivo Performance Group have thrown themselves enthusiastically into the theatrical genre known as the Dinner Murder Mystery.
In the Aperitivo version, the audience enjoys a specially written hour of murder, mayhem and scandal. Dinner is then served, during which the audience can chew over the clues and decide on their personal choice of murderer.
Shortly to be staged at a number of locations across the Algarve, ‘The Shooting Party’ is set in the 1920s. Lord and Lady Muck are hosting a Shooting Party up at the Manor, but someone has bigger prey in their sights than a passing pheasant.
Chief Detective Inspector Spade has been called in to discover who pulled the fatal trigger and murdered Ronnie Archer. Various suspects are introduced and their motives analysed.
There’s Lord and Lady Muck and their ‘limp fish’ son Jeremy. There is Major Blenkinsop and his wife and Miss Rebecca Resentful.
After dinner comes the denouement, and the selection of one lucky, prize-winning member of the audience whose keen intellect has unmasked the guilty party.
An exceptionally entertaining show, well acted and beautifully costumed.
