Actors will be taking to the stage in the Stable Gallery at the São Brás museum on October 28, 29 and 30 and everyone is asked to join in by dressing up in Victorian and Edwardian costume for this traditional production.
The show will be similar in format to the television programme The Good Old Days and will have a Chairman, live singing of authentic songs with melodrama and monologs.
Song sheets will be available for the audience to join in, while those in costume will be given a free raffle ticket.
Money raised from the performances will be donated to Centre Algarve in Moncarapacho, a holiday centre for people with special needs which is currently being renovated for use.
For members of the audience who would like help in putting together an outfit assistance will be given at the charity shop in São Brás near to the market of at the charity shop in Guia, found opposite the church.
Helpers at both shops will help put together outfits for a very low price with inspiration for costumes available from the Angel Theatre website at www.angelstheatregroup.com (available in English)
Tickets for the show cost 20 Euros per person and include a supper of steak, mushroom and ale pudding with peas, and entrance to the show.
