George Michael has announced that eighties sensations Wham! will never reunite as he claims it would be “impossible” to recapture the feel of the group after splitting up 20 years ago.
“Wham! was about being young and exuberant and you can’t recreate that feeling at a certain age,” said the 46 year old solo singer.
Despite being proud of his Wham! Days, George is not a fan of the massive 1984 hit Wake Me Up Before You Go Go and said: “I am not keen on that song. I haven’t sung it for a long time.”
