West-End musical director performs in Algarve

Buy yourself a drink at the bar, find a table and chair, and prepare to enjoy The Angels’ latest musical revue “Upstairs and Downstairs” at The Old Stable Gallery in the São Brás Museum on Saturday, November 28.

The Angels Theatre Group, who entertain for charity and have already raised over €50,000 for the community’s needy, will entertain you with a selection of songs from a bygone era.

London West-End musical director and pianist, John Evans, will accompany their live performance.

Dressed in costumes from the Edwardian period, the cast will first re-create the upstairs parlour where traditionally the gentry performed sophisticated songs to entertain themselves.

This is followed by Act 2 when the servants relax in the kitchen and sing both funny and poignant songs from the fashionable music halls of the day.

Doors open at 7pm with the show starting at 8pm.

Tickets cost €14 and are on sale at the museum.
