West Algarve sustainable golf

Espiche Golf takes exceptional responsibility in the way it carries out its course maintenance with a history of environmental research and its commitment to an ongoing process for sustainability.

The land on which the course is built is classified as an Ecological Reserve, which means that the land is made of a geological structure of karst rock (Lime Stone) that has a water table ‘Aquifer’ below it.

Warm season grasses have been established for a greater drought tolerance.

This gently undulating 18 hole, par 72 course blends into the Algarve landscape with its lakes, streams and indigenous planting adding to the enrichment and biodiversity of the area.

The aspects are exceptional, surrounded by open countryside and vineyards with views to the Monchique mountains in the distance.

The close proximity to Praia da Luz and Lagos offers a very special location.

The course uses innovative grass technology making this one of the most ecologically advanced courses in Europe.

Seasonal deals and special offers at the course include: Daily Twilight from 4.30pm until 8.30pm at €25, the weekend 18 hole offer that lasts all day for €30, weekdays for €35 (18 holes) and €25 (9 holes), plus buggies costing €20 (18 holes) and €15 (9 holes).
