Dear Editor,
As a person who loves Portugal and its traditional villages, it is quite disturbing to see the land, even national park land, be ripped up for developments that stand half empty, as in the outskirts of Salema, and to see the lovely fishing village of Burgau be torn apart.
People are leaving and not coming back because their hearts are being ripped out. How have these developments been allowed?
