Poppy Appeal Result 2011
Portugal has raised more than €31,000 for the Royal British Legion (RBL) Poppy Appeal 2011, the 90th anniversary of the Legion.
The Appeal Coordinator for Portugal, Sandra Wilkinson, said: “This is a wonderful achievement. As usual, we will not be naming individuals who have contributed time and money to this appeal as, thankfully, the list is too long but well done everyone who has helped in any way.
“A debt is owed particularly to the Area and District Organisers without whom we could not have a Poppy Appeal in Portugal. And, as always, we can still use more help.”
