Forum Algarve has officially opened its doors to Christmas last Saturday, and will be once more spreading this season’s magic! After almost 2 years, the Ice Rink is back promising lots of fun for the whole family. And in the covered square, the much-acclaimed Father Christmas Village and Santa Claus will be welcoming the kids.
Since Christmas means presents, children will be offered book 15 of the Gui collection, that comes with a very special message on sustainable mobility and the need to become more eco-friendly, and one more very special offer – Gui’s village. From November 13, kids will be able to collect the characters and buildings of Gui’s village to build his hometown and play with him and his friends. A leaflet with a map of Gui’s village will be delivered with the book, and every weekend the characters can be requested for free at Santa’s Village (limited to existing stock).
But if Santa only comes in December, tourists come year-round and Forum Algarve is always ready to welcome them! A number of very useful amenities can be found and used by all those visiting the region and this shopping centre. If you’re travelling in the Algarve (to or from) did you know that Forum Algarve has:
- Free lockers for smaller bags and a luggage room for larger or bulkier baggage – you just need to go to information desk to request it.
- A flight information service connected to Faro Airport that allows you to check flight schedules in real time – you’ll find one screen in front of the information desk and another upstairs in the restaurant area.
- Free printing of boarding passes at the information desk – a tablet will be lent to you so you can access your account and print the boarding pass for free right there.
- Train and bus ticket sales, through a partnership with EVA Transportes, and PXM for city buses.
And as a complement to all these services, Forum Algarve also has, through Unicâmbio, a Tax-Free service which allows tourists from outside the EU to request and receive a VAT refund on the spot.
