Following work on the Port of Portimão to attract more cruise ships to the city, negotiations are currently underway with selected cruise liners for the planning of weekly routes between Portimão and Seville.
Plans are for stopovers at Seville, Vila Real de Santo António, Olhão and Faro, with turn-around planned at Portimão Port.
In a bid to further increase the number of cruise ships from Spain, plans are in place for the implementation of attractive package tour deals for passengers.
